Iberostar Hotels and Resorts - THE CLUB IS TIMESHARE SCAM DO NOT SIGN BEFOR READING
This is my personal experience.
STAY AWAY FROM FREE LUNCH. I BELIEVE THEY PUT SOMETHING IN YOUR FOOD OR DRINK SO YOU CAN NOT THINK STRAIGHT.
They will push hard with TODAY ONLY DEAL.
They will try to convince you that you signing up for AMAZING IBEROSTAR THE CLUB. Claim that you get a really good deal and discounts but in reality, you sign up for RCI timeshare and all those things that they promised to you are false or useless discounts on overpriced items that you can buy much cheaper without IBEROSTAR. Read all information read it before you sign anything.
DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAYING.
Also if you sign up for THE CLUB...
You signing up for specific cheapest resorts.
Also, the will be one big problem booking the room...
Rooms not available...
You go to any travel site and what a surprise they have as many rooms as you need.
But........
If you buy from anyone but THE CLUB..... You will find that VIP LODGE AND VIP BEACH SECTION is not for you, you can't use THE CLUB that you paid for $$$ Thousands of $$$.
Because book the room on Expedia or elsewhere.
Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.
Monetary Loss: $12000.
Preferred solution: Get rid of THE CLUB.
Iberostar Hotels and Resorts Pros: Love resorts used most of them, Architecture, Most servives, Food, Food and location.
Iberostar Hotels and Resorts Cons: Crooked iberostar the club, Terrible entertainment, Hate the club, Lied to me at club sales.

We are also a silver members. So far nothing but hassles.
They do not stand by the things promised. Just recently trying to book our vacation, I have had to wait on the Club line for over 30 minutes several times. Often hanging up because I have better things than wait on the phone. I secured our vacation the other day.
We had a reservation, decided to upgrade and during that call paid for the upgraded reservation. My husband received a message that we needed to contact them. Today another 30 minutes on the phone only to find out they wanted to know if we still wanted the other reservation!!!! Really!!
Asked to speak to a Manager "Andrea" head of the reservations dept. Well she was less than helpful. She doesn't have a record of my calls. , Why would I lie!
She will look into the situation. She didn't seem to understand, maybe that is why the department is in such a mess.. One of the reasons you purchase a membership is so you can easily book your vacations. She acted like she was doing me a favor!
I really miss my travel agent. I never had these and many other issues before and to think we paid a lot of money for this hassle.
